The grapes from this impressive Barbera d'Asti come from the sunniest vineyards with red clay Karst soil in the hills of Moasca, province of Asti. It has very dark ruby-red color with a nose of juicy red fruits, spices and flowers. In the mouth: the taste of ripe black fruit, blackberries, cherry and plum, eastern spices, licorice and mocha. Perfect balance, velvety full body, pleasant fruity acidity broken delicate sweetness. Finish unusually long and elegant. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, tension and a good freshness. Very complex, spicy, with well defined woodland fruit notes and a fine wood nose.
