Cadicarassa is Bocchino s Cortese dell Alto Monferrato DOC. The Cortese grapes come from the hills of Sant’Antonio di Canelli (province of Asti). People will know this varietal more from Gavi di Gavi (also Cortese). Very nice crispness as the hills have a south-eastern exposure and the soil is sandy. Wonderful as apperitif wine or with dishes such as fish, vegetables , sushi. The colour of this cortese is straw-yellow of varying intensity; the bouquet is floral; on the palate it is dry, harmonious, pleasantly approachable and with good acidity.
