Wine Advocate – 92 points .Alta Mesa Vineyard is located in eastern Santa Barbara County at an elevation of 3200 ft. The 17- acre vineyard was farmed to yield an average of 2.5-3 tons/acre. The grapes were harvested and co-fermented with 5% whole cluster, extended skin contact during fermentation and stem inclusion. Aged for 42 months in a combination of 1-3 year old French barrels, the wine was bottled without fining or filtration
